Beth Sweney, PA-C is the owner of River City Dermatology in Grand Rapids, MI, part of a multidisciplinary Clinic that combines Dermatology and Rheumatology to meet the needs of patients with overlapping disease states. Previously, she was the Clinical Supervisor of the Psoriasis and Eczema Treatment Center for over four years. Beth graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ferris State University, where she was named The Outstanding Graduate in Biology. She then obtained her master’s in physician assistant studies from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) and is now Affiliated Clinical Faculty for GVSU’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program and a Fellow of Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She specializes in chronic inflammatory skin disease such as psoriasis, eczema/atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. She is a published author on psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
